I just replaced the front bearing (part number WE3M26) plus 2 new green and white slides, respectively. The old bearing was cracked and two slides were missing. Replaced all, but the new front bearing does not lock in to the front panel on the upper tabs. My issue - the dryer is now making rubbing sounds with the new parts installed whereas it did not with the old! I replaced the felt seal as well. I followed the videos so I’m fairly confident of my work, but I would imagine the two locking tabs should engage and they do not. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
