My dryer element in the back was staying on even after i would open the dryer door. it would often spark a bit and sounded like some tin foil was rolling around back there.
well yesterday it sparked and then from the back of the dryer i could see the light inside went out and it will no longer heat. it still runs just no heat.
i am thinking i need a new element? What do you think? THANKS

You will need to check to see which with an ohm meter.
