GE Electric Dryer won't heat up

We have a GE Dryer - we noticed yesterday that it was Staying Hot long after a load was done - so we unplugged it - I plugged it back in today and was able to do 2 loads of laundry and now it won’t heat up at all.
What can I do/check to repair this myself?

Update - we found that it’s only HIGH Heat that will not work.
Medium and low heat are working fine.
Please help me figure out what and how I can fix myself!

Most likely the problem is a bad cycling thermostat (#230 on the diagram).

Here are the breakdown diagrams and http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=206941

How do I find it? How do I get in there to change it?
Thank you!

If you’ll click on the diagram link in the previous reply, you can see that thermostat located on the blower housing.

Open the door and remove the screws holding the top panel through the door frame. Lift up the top panel. Remove the four screws (two on the top and two on the bottom) holding the front panel and remove it.

Thank you! I hope this is it - works fine on all the other heat settings.

You are welcome. Keep us posted.
