I am new to this Board. I have a GE Freezer and the Ice and water have stopped working. The Light still turns on and when I press the Ice/Water lever (with a cup), you can hear a click.
I have already replaced the Ice/Water Interface (WR55X10415). Ge sent a repair man to my house for no charge and he tested the main control panel (WR55X10942). The repair man has suggested that the wire in the door must be defective (Have to replace the entire door ~$500). I’m trying to determine if I can fix this without replacing the door.
