GE front load washer bearing

The tub bearing appears to be broken. Is it worth repairing this 9 year old front loader? Problem is it is stack mounted so I would-probably have to buy a dryer as well:mad:!
If I decide to repair it myself how big a job is this  I do a lot of handyman work and repairs myself, but there seem to be an awful lot of things that have to be removed before the drum can be accessed it also seems to be very heavy:(. Is there a manual somewhere which gives procedures for this?

I know it says GE but this is a Frigidaire made front loader. The bearing is not a separately repairable part, you have to replace the rear tub and that makes the repair too expensive for this model that is this old.

The good news is that you ought to be able to purchase a Frigidaire front loader that will work with your dryer so you can keep the units stacked and not have to buy a new dryer. At worst you may need to buy a new stacker kit.
