My washer is currently not spinning, working. About a week ago the clothes were still wet after the cycle was completed, I would put them back in on drain and spin and they would spin out fine. Now it will start like usual, tumble once or twice, door will unlock and it will turn off. I have cleaned out the filter in the bottom of the washer, I also went into the test mode and it came up E54. I found here that this code indicates the inverter is bad. I’m hoping someone has some experience on things I can try first as I can’t really afford to replace part after part. I have 5 children so I need to fix this soon. I really appreciate any and all help offered.
