GE Gas Cooktop Glass Replacement

I have cracked glass on my GE gas cooktop – model JGP656BB1BB – I’ve removed the cooktop from the countertop and disconnected both the gas and electric from it. How do I release the burner drip pans to remove the old glass and install the new glass?
