Wanted to get some quick advice on her before I do anything stupid!!..I am getting the error code F1 and the incessant beeping only when the oven is NOT IN USE…I can get the beeping to stop by turning the oven on bake or on the clean cycle…Unfortunately the beeping starts 15 seconds after I stop using the oven.It is getting old having to turn the oven on/off at the circuit breaker anytime I want to use it…I called GE and of course there is no way to override the beeping and they said I needed a new clock(Part# WB27K5187)…Before I drop 200 on this part is there any way to test if it is maybe the touch pad or the oven temperature sensor that is causing the problem??..I have seen a couple of other posts that have indicated that causes F1 Error Codes…Thanks in Advance…
