Have above unit, last month, stopped making ice. Assumed (love that word) the water filter was clogged again (been spraying high water pressure to clear for several months), so I replaced with a new filter. Still no ice after several days, so while checking all out, noticed side of frige was really warm and inside temps were getting higher than normal. Noticed condensor fan not blowing, placing a fan behind corrected temp issues, but still no ice. Saw online that the condensor fan motor was probably bad, so I purchased one from a local appliance store. As all now found forums, like yours, were saying the mother board as well needed to be replaced. I ordered from APP’s and rec’d really fast. Installed the next day, fan started running, was feeling really well, didn’t appear to have to do any modifications to the wireing, per enclosed instructions, but, still no ice. Saw on another site where they were saying that anytime that the fan motor is replaced, that the evaporator thermistor (sensor) also needs to be replaced. Also did the 1/2 cup water in the IM, still no ice. Do I need the IM or I just buy ice from my local supplier. Thanks for your time, Marty.
