I have a GE washer that will not advance to the next cycle, it fills up but doesn’t advance to the next cycle, you have to manually turn the knob. i did a reset of the machine(open door seven times after disconnecting the power switch) and now i can hear the timer working…but i still have to manually move it tom the next phase. can anyone tell me whats the problem? I had suspected the timer but now that i hear the timer working i am not so sure anymore. now the timer is not making anymore noises after half an hour of the reset…Help.
