We have an old GE double oven that was given to us to replace our existing double oven. We are now having a problem with the digital control panel for the upper oven. It constantly goes into Error Mode and starts beeping at us. The lower oven is controlled by a knob and has nothing to do with the upper oven. We would still like to be able to use the lower oven, but the beeping from the upper oven prevents this. Is there a way to disconnect the beeper while still allowing the lower oven to operate? Is it safe to do this? We are now not able to use it, as we have to keep the breaker turned off to eliminate the beeping.
