the handle is broken. how can I get the plastic outer shell off without breaking it to repair or replace the handle? Can you give me a part number and price for a replacement handle?

If you take the bottom panel off the front of the dryer, just behind the filter assembly on the vent housing is a small white part. It is the thermal fuse. That could very well be your culprit. Make sure you unplug the dryer, before you do anything. Tom http://www.applianceeducator.com
