A few weeks ago, I repaired the door spring cable. Soon after, my wife holds up the "nut water inlet" (part #WD01X10220) and says, "This was on the floor and the dishwasher is leaking".
I was able to screw the part back onto the "funnel assembly" (WD12X10181), but after a few cycles/loads, it comes loose and starts leaking again.
One note - the schematics show a "water gasket" (WD08X10044) part that I can’t find.
However, the threads don’t appear stripped, and after screwing the part on, it seems secure and tight. Aside from the missing gasket, nothing seems to be wrong with the parts. Not sure how/why it comes off.
Would it be wise to use some plumbers tape and/or super-glue and rescrew it back on, or just order new parts and hope they work?
Updates
There was a gasket, I just missed it earlier.
I completely removed the assembly and verified that the inlet nut screwed secure and tight. The threads are fine. My guess is that last time I didn’t screw it on all the way.
I replaced the assembly and placed a few drops of super glue to the inlet nut threads before screwing it back on. I tugged at it, pulled on it, and twisted it. It is secure. If it comes loose again, I’m at a loss. I’ll let the glue dry and then give it a go.
The gasket is probably on the outside of the tub between it and the funnel.
If you look at the following there is a groove in the funnel assembly for it. AP3794309

Correct! The schematics don’t make that very clear. Thx for the reply!
