Need flapper valve

Flapper valve located in check valve body is distorted and warped. Diagram does not show this particular flapper valve. Only shows the one in the pump housing. Is this flapper valve necessary and if so where can one be found? Thanks

I did, and it is slightly larger in diameter than the one in the check valve body.

Does not completely drain after final rinse cycle. Probably not completely draining after other cycles either because dishes are not getting as clean as they should. Replaced the discharge pump and in doing so, discovered the small flapper valve in the check valve body distorted. It is approximately 1 1/16" in diameter and the other flapper valve in the pump discharge is approximately 1 1/8" in diameter and has a marking that says "out" on one side of the flapper. Checked all areas for clogs and pipes for kinks and found none. Is it possible to operate the washer without the small flapper valve?

You can run it without the check valve, but water will run back in from the drain hose. Did you check the piston and nut assembly?

I assume you are talking about the piece that unscrews inside the tub with a spring and plunger. The bottom looks fine but there is a white rubber cone type washer at the top that looks pretty bad. Is that white piece at the top suppose to seal the hole at the top of the part? If so, it ain’t doing it.

Bingo, there’s your problem. That rubber piece needs to seal the hole, if there is any gap, it will not drain properly. During drain, water forces the plunger up and that rubber cone seals the hole, when it is not sealed water circulates back through the D/W instead of out the drain hose.

Thank you very much. Now if I can figure out what to do about that little flapper valve, it should be good to go. Wish I had checked that valve first but -----live and learn. Thanks again.

I’ll see if I can find the part# for you.

I have the classic problem of "freezer is fine but reefer is too warm" and so I bought the temperature timer but I don’t understand from the diagram of my reefer, where the time goes or how to find it. Can you help?

Just ordered a front drum bearing and slides( I hope slides and glides are the same thing?) to quite the squeaky, screeching dyer monster. There was only one glide left, the others looked like they were sheared off and some cracking on the bearing. Now how do I remove the old drum bearing? I don’t see any screws holding it in? perhaps I just pull it out, but I don’t want to break any other parts. Also I brought relacement felt and not sure how it fits on the bottom( should have gotten that from Parts Pro also as I paid $40 from an appliance parts store…why the heck is a piece of felt that expensive?)Thanks for any help

I have a 6 year old gas range and the oven is not heating properly. Either it heats up to desired heat and then loses heat or it just takes forever to heat up. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thermostat??
