GE Profile refridgerator won't cool

This model is bottom freezer, we just got it from a good friend. Moved it to our house, didn’t plug in for 2 days, plugged it in, loaded it, temp was coming down. Sometime the next day it quit, nothing running, no display, no response to the controls, the lights come on so it has power. The only thing I can think that we did wrong was we didn’t know to power off the ice maker and we did not have a water line to hook up yet.
My guess is the main board went bad as nothing runs or attempts to if you unplug and then plug it back in.

Hi.

I’m afraid you are right - the main control board is bad. It’s located at the back of the fridge behind the metal cover.
The new board may look a bit different because it’s universal.
Reed the instructions, you may need to do some adjustments.

Thank you. Post the results.

As Simon said, the main board was bad. It was an easy replacememt, I didn’t have to do any wire cuts. Thanks for your help, it was perfect.

You are very welcome.
