Both the refrigerator and freezer compartments are not cooling to the recommended temperatures (0/34 deg C). The freezer is currently at 17 deg C and the refrigerator is at 40 deg C. It has been having trouble keeping cool for about a few months now.

The unit is in a very tight space and has very little clearance on the sides and top. However, this unit has been working fine in the past.

All the digital displays work.

The rear inside wall of the freezer compartment does not have a frosty spot anywhere.

The freezer fan is working and blowing steady air out of the vent in the freezer compartment.

I pulled the bottom grill off and cleaned the condenser coil from the front. Warm air can be felt emanating from the bottom of the unit.

The compressor appears to be vibrating, but I can’t get behind the refrigerator to check the temperature. The local area is very warm.

I also tested the damper by entering a test mode; it appears to be working.

Apparently this model is known for control board issues. But if the control board was shot, wouldn’t the whole machine stop working or at least not be able to keep a cool at all?

My model does not appear to be on the list and my fridge is from 2002.

Any assistance/advice would be much appreciated. Let me know if you need any additional information.

Thanks.
