GE Side by Side, water on floor behind unit

Noticed water behind refrigerator/freezer one morning…immediately thought of loose connections from valve to ice maker line, but it was not a continuous leak. Checked drain hole in freezer, wasn’t clogged with ice, but stuck a flexible rubber tube in it anyway…just in case there was some kind of clog. Also raised arm of icemaker so it couldn’t fill, and cleaned out ice recepticle. It hasn’t leaked since (even though it has gone through a defrost cycle), but I have yet to turn on the ice maker again. Since the water lines are continuously full (whether or not the ice maker arm is on), I figure it couldn’t be a line. Is there some kind of valve that lets the water into the icemaker that would only leak when the water comes through to fill the ice tray? This is the only thing I can think of…any suggestions would be appreciated.
