GE Spectra Range inner burner stopped working

Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I have a GE Spectra Range M/N: JBP78WOB1WW and S/N W14537OQ.
The Right front burner has a large and small setting. The small setting does not work. Is there a simple way to test it so I can repair it myself?
