GE washer front load WBVH5200J1WW wont fill

We got a GE Front Load washer with the house we recently purchased. This washer will not fill with water. We have checked all the filters, the inlet and the internal hoses. We can find nothing obstructing the hoses or fitlers. We replaced the inlet solenoid, and still nothing. When the washer is on, we got voltage from all the wires going to the solenoid, which is why we replaced it. However, once replaced, we tested the lines while the machine was plugged in AND running, and we don’t seem to have voltage to the solenoids. The machine turns on wonderfully, and the panel seems to be working fine. Upon start up, it clicks a few times like it’s going to do something, and then the timer just counts down for while. then it shuts off.

Is there something else that I can try to do to beat this thing into submission, or do I just have my husband drag it to the curb?

As if we don’t have enough trouble with the new house…

I am not a fan of these GE front loaders, and if I had one I would not drag it to the curb only because no one would likely pick it up.

However, you certainly do not want to spend money if you can make it work, so here is a service manual for a similar model which should give you some good testing suggestions. I am a little confused since at one point you say the inlet valves are getting power, and later you say they are not.

Anyway, here is the manual from another good site.

When I took the front cover off my GE front loader there was another manual which is for the professionals. It had the secret codes to enter to test the machine and definitions and solutions for all the error code messages. You might look for that too.
