GE front load won't fill

I have a GE GBVH5300K0WW front load clothes washer. It does not fill with water. I select the cycle, load size etc., press power and the door locks, it tumbles the clothes a couple of times, the door unlocks, locks again and then the pump runs for a minute or two. I assume the door locking and unlocking is the because of the pre wash tests it does. When the pump stops running, it’s as if you pressed pause. The start/pause light starts blinking and nothing more happens until you press start again, and then it just does the same thing over again. I ran the diagnostic deal and got a #30 error. I then cleaned the pump filter and cleared the code. I also ran the t06 fill test. It filled ok and drained ok. Then I tried the normal cycle again with the same result as I described earlier. I ran all the tests, they seemed to be ok. Please help!

Check the water pressure switch.

I ran it through the fill test (#6 I think) and it worked fine. Filled to foam level, then to normal, then to overflow and drained. I took the hose for the switch off and blew through it and I took off the valve and blew into it, just in case. The diaphragm is ok. Thanks.

Anyone???

I am having the exact same issue. Did you ever figure out the problem. I’m guessing the pump motor or the pressure switch but don’t want to play the guessing game and buy parts that I don’t need.

Nope, still nothing. I have since ordered and received a new circuit board. When I got the new board I hooked it up but the display didn’t work. I thought the board was faulty so I got them to order me another one. The second new board came today and the display doesn’t work on it either. They’ve either ordered me the wrong part number, or the part number isn’t right. The old rope’s gettin’ mighty short. I’m going to look and see if there are any service bulletins that address this issue. We’re still working on it.

IT WAS THE CONTROL BOARD!!! It’s fixed!

how much did the control board cost?
MY WASHER IS NOT FILLING OR SPINNING. It makes a vibration noise like the motor is working, but the door locks…no water comes in…it doesn’t spin at all.

Then, after a few minutes, the door unlocks and then…nothing.

I have checked the filters, the pressure switch (blew through a straw and it clicked) tested the current to the pressure switch one circuit was open and one was closed. The filter on water intake is clear. Filter in bottom front of washer is clear. I took out the pump and it spins freely.

Oh, and it won’t run a full test cycle.

any help or advice is appreciated.

I just tried to start a cycle again. Regular, tap cold water, and the drain hose feels like it is cold, like there is water running through it…but no water enters the tub! and it still isn’t spinning.

No water is going through the soap dispenser or into the tub at all…so how could it be going through the drain, completely bypassing the tub? After a couple of minutes, it pauses and unlocks.
