Hello,
I recently had an issue where my GE Washer overflowed. Right after that when I tried to start the machine again it would not fill with water and would just start the agitation cycle. Reading various blogs, I decided to replace the water level switch (GE WH12X10065). After replacing this part the washer will now fill with water but still does not stop at any of the water levels. I have checked the water pressure hose and that is connected at both ends. If I blow into one end of it, I can hear a tick sound on the switch so I don’t think the hose is clogged.
Any other ideas? What else should I check
Thank you!
The air dome on the side of the tub that the hose is connected to is probably clogged with gunk. It is not removable so you will have to run a wire into it and also try flushing it with hot water using a turkey baster or similar device. It’s also possible that the hose has a small leak in it somewhere. Should have just replaced it when you replaced the switch. Be careful cleaning out the air dome as you don’t want to break the hose nipple off.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the suggestion. It worked!
I checked the air dome and did notice a bunch of gunk near the tip of it. I used the end of a clothes pin to clear out the clog and now the machine will stop filling at the correct levels.
Thanks again for your help!!
