Over the last two weeks, I have noticed my washing machine spin cycle get extremely loud, and I noticed that there was grease on some of my clothes. I had one cycle of whites ruined. I took off the agitator which is where the grease was coming from underneath, and there was grease all over. I removed the rusty bolt and replaced it with a new one, and I cleaned everything out. The machine is still loud, but the last spin did not spit out any grease.
Is the machine worth repairing, or is it time to replace. I am somewhat handy with things around the house.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
