here is the issue I am having.
My fridge has been making some problematic noises lately and I am thinking it is the condensor fan motor thats the issue but I want to be sure. I was thinking of getting a new fridge, but if its just a motor, then I might pay to get it fixed.
It sounds the compressor turns on fine and stays on fine, I can hear it humming with no irregularities. However, the fan tries to kick on at the same time and it fails anywhere from 5-15 times until it comes on and stays on. Its like a dying car trying to start and finally gets going. It has progressively gotten worse though, and I dont think it runs for very long now anymore.
The fortunate thing is, the fridge still stays cold both on the fridge and freezer side, can i assume the compressor is still working?
If anyone has any insight that would be great, if its worth it, ill call someone in to check it out.
