HELP! I think this thing might blow!!!

 I would greatly appreciate any help! Our Kenmore Oven Range (electric) blew a fuse the other day. A big spark came from behind the oven when I was changing the temperature control on one of the burners. The burner hasn’t worked since then and the whole power to the oven was out. We reset the fuse at the main breaker box. IT has happened two other times. Once turning on the oven and once turning on another burner. But so far, only the first incident has permanently broken the one burner… I’m concerned of a fire, but the charge for someone to even come and look at it is over $100!! Can anyone point me in the right direction- I’m worried about a fire starting!
THANK YOU!!!
