Frigidaire Gallery FSE748GFS0 dryer…I did a bunch of research and took apart some of my dryer. The clothes were getting ripped. I looked up my model and ordered the two glides that go in the front of the drum, one for the top, one for the bottom. These two glide/seals, by the way are the only ones shown in the parts list AND on many diagrams I have looked at for my dryer. However, when I poked around at the back of the drum, there is another piece of felt/glide thing at the top. It is not glued to the drum, but appears to be stapled to a protuding piece of metal so that it lines up with the back of the drum. It is old and looks worn out and a couple of the staples are missing. I can replace the two front seal/glides, but my question is, what do I do with that felt thing in the back? Nothing I have seen looks like there is supposed to be a glide anywhere at the back.
