So I just washed 2 loads of laundry worked perfect, I go to wash another load, & now we have an issue. So it fills up just fine, I can turn the part that spins clock wise. It doesn’t sound like it is running, but every once in awhile it acts like it is going to work, it does this for maybe 10 seconds. When I try to switch it to drain it won’t do that either, or if I switch it anywhere else it won’t work!
That model is 15 years old and I don’t have wiring diagram for it. If you could provide clear photo of wiring diagram and timer chart, it would help a lot. Problem may be timer, speed switch or motor connections. Open control panel for access to wiring diagram. You can also remove the cabinet and bypass the lid switch so you can run machine while checking motor wiring connections. Unplug motor connectors and check for corroded/burned wiring contacts. Check connection at motor thermal overload (has white wire attached).

So I left it running where it spins to drain the water, & it kept make clicking noises and it would spin, slow down, spin, slow down, then spin for about 10 seconds and stop. EVERYTIME it spun it would drain a little bit of water. It would do every 5 minutes or so, but the knob that moves wouldn’t move.
