Hello to all!
Ok i have a question. My maytag washer bangs real loud when it hits the spin cycle. I replaced the brakes, that did not help. I had the wife hit the button and watched what happened. The pulley under the tub was turning but the helix was not, thus the banging noise. I took a bar and pried up on the helix (gently) and the whole shaft moves up and down. It wont stay up at all by itself. Wha parts do i need to fix this?
Please? i really need the help here, my kids r running out of clothes!
