Ok, need some additonal pointers. In normal start position, when you press the button, it beeps once and the sensing light will come on but the unit will not run. I have done a diagnostic test on it. It runs through everything perfectly until the start button. When I press the start in diagnostic, it beeps once, it comes up 9(03 or 05 is listed as what it should come up), and all of the status buttons go out, which is listed as proper. When it is pressed a second time it goes back to 88 and all status lights are on. What would the 9 indicate? Am I in need of a new electronic control panel, or is there something else I can check? A new control panel is going to be 200 plus, I may as well get a new one at that point. Any information would be great before the expense of a new one. Whirlpool GEW9868KQ4
