Water And Ice Dispenser Seems To Be A Problem. The Water Works Some Of The Times, But The Ice Does Not Dispense. When Trying To Dispense The Water Or Ice The Light On The Dispenser Goes Very Dim. Also The Main Wire On The Back Of The Fridge Keeps Getting Loose. I Have Dumped The Ice Out Twice But It Still Does Not Work. Please Help Me.

When we try to use the dispenser when the motor is runnung it stops running for a while then it starts back up. Also The Main Wire On The Back Of The Fridge Keeps Getting Loose. It is the wire that the fan and condenser are plugged into. We have tie wrapped the wires and it seems to be working for now. I Have Dumped The Ice Out Twice But It Still Does Not Work. Please Help Me.
Your main board needs to be replaced WR55x10552. If it is 0-3 years old the repair is free, 3-5 years is $100, and over 5 years $300. You can call 1-800-432-2737 to set up service from GE. Just FYI they wont tell you on the phone about this program, but the tech that comes out will have all info. Or you can order the part here for about $86.00
