Diagnosed [hopefully correctly] my freezer woes as a burnt out defrost heater. Was digging around in the freezer last night trying to figure out the best [least destructive] way to get the old one out - it is not very intuitive for the layman! Scoured the internet for videos but only been able to find a video for a side-by-side freezer removal - much different than my Haier top mount freezer. It lies at the very bottom of the coils and is tethered on both ends with some metal pieces that appear to slide in/off. Hoping when the new part arrives Saturday we can bulldog through it but wanted to see if anyone here had any advice, or if I could share a photo for further help I can do that too.
