How can I remove the front panel on maytag washing machine. I am troubleshooting a won’t spin or agitate situation. Will probably have more questions to follow.

I figured it out. I ‘popped’ the top by putting a flat head screwdriver between the top and front panel about 3"-4"s in from the edge and the TOP POPPED up allowing me to get to the screws that hold the front on. Now I need to know what to do next. I can see the belt is not broken.
