I have ordered the replacement igniter and mounting ring, but I can’t figure out how to remove the tray and burner so that I can remove the old igniter and ring. What’s the secret trick to removing the spill tray so that I can get at the bottom of the igniter??
I have a prl364edg and if you mean on the cooktop the star burners have a black part that picks off and a brass part that the black part sits on. There is a nut on top of the brass part of the burner that un screws pick upwards and un plug wire that goes to the igniter once you do this with both burners you should be sble to pick the splash guard off!
