I received a substitute part but...

Maytag Neptune washer FAV6800AWW - control board. Part you sent me does not match the part I removed from the machine. Your cust srvc person said it’s a substitute but on the existing board the screen is about 1" square, new boad 4"x6" and the connectors are not the same so that the connectors currently in the machine don’t connect directly to the board.

Here are your parts

The control board is Item 23 in Section 3.
If you click on the picture of the part you will get a better view.
Using the 1 inch grid the board looks like it is 6 X 9

NOTE: This forum is manned mostly by volunteers so we cannot really help too much here. I would contact the AppliancePartsPros parts department on this matter.

Perhaps with more info on what you need and the part numbers used, one of us may be able to help.

They sent me a different part. When I called they said the part they sent is the official substitute part because the original is discontinued. Problem is, what they sent me is NOT a substitute part because it is so different. The large screen instead of the one inch square numeric readout, and the different size plug connectors make it incompatible but AppliancePartsPros is saying they sent me the correct part for what I ordered even though the part I received is not the part in the photo (the one in the photo matches exactly the one I pulled). I am not even sure that it is the control board I need but from what I read it sounded like tit so I figured it worth a try before just buying a new washer. Now I am inclined to just go out & buy a replacement washer & forget about trying to repair. It’s not like money is not an issue becuase it is, but I have been without a washer for two weeks now & cannot manage without one in the house.

I checked another site and found the the same part, FSP #25001217 and the picture is identical to the one at Appliance Parts Pros.
Sometimes data bases make errors, which would not reflect bad on Appliance parts pros, so I would take a picture of the board they sent you, then send it back with a copy of the picture showing the wrong board verses the correct board.
