I have a Jenn - Air 42" built-in that the ice maker & water dispenser works fine sometimes and on other times, doesn’t work at all. When you dispense ice, it appears it works fine if you do a glass at a time, but if you do several, it will start acting up. First you will hear the solenoids opening & closing rapidly and the the ice quits dispensing and then it just stops and nothing will dispense including the water. If you let it set for an extended period of time, it will start working again.
I have replaced the solenoid that switches the ice dispenser from cubed to crushed and the limit switch but nothing seems to help. I assume there is a capacitor of some sort that is getting hot & tripping.
Can you give me any suggestions?
