Ice dispenser doesn't work on fridge, water works fine.

I have a whirlpool side by side fridge and 2 weeks ago the ice dispenser quit working. The water still works fine. When I push the ice dispenser button, the little door opens in the chute, and thats all that happens. I took it all apart and there is a basically a controller board and a motor, when i push the button theres some relay that clicks once on the controller board and thats all that happens. Motor doesnt do anything (doesnt try to turn, no noise, nothing) so I am thinking it is the controller board. Anyone have any idea whether I am on the right track? Does this functionality break down often on a whirlpool fridge? It seems I cant return the part if I buy it so I want to be as certain it the problem…

This is the part I am considering buying (no picture :():

Part Details - WHIRLPOOL CNTRL-ELEC, part number: 2303843

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks
