Ice dispenser won't stop dispensing

I just replaced the water dispenser actuator and when I plugged the dispenser facia panel the ice dispenser engaged and would not stop. I re-removed the ice and water dispenser assembly and examined the possibilities. I saw no damage to any wires or circuit boards. I ohmed both micro switches and the wires that power the assembly. I removed the ice tray and reconnected all the circuit boards and still the ice dispenser is engaged. The door switch does disengage the dispenser. The outer micro switches on the outer circuit board work for switching betwee crushed or cubed. Please help
