I have kenmore elite side by side refrigerator model # number (10656709500)
Ice maker not working. Water is not flowing into ice mold.
I CALL SERVICE AND HE SID IT COULD BE WATER VALVE OR ICE MAKER
HE SID TO CHANGE THE WATER VALVE 1ST LESS MONY AND HE SIDE TO TURN IT OFF FOR 24 HRS will
need to defrost the FILL tube FROZIN THAT DID NOT HELP.
THE ICE MAKER LOOKS LIKE IT CYCLE NORMAL BUT NO WATER flowing into ice mold
Took hair dryer to black tube and attempted to poke ice out (nothing).
i even took the fill tube out the water valve that gose to icemaker and i blow air
to see if ther is blockage
I poured water in ice mold AND 4 HRS LATER IT DID MAKE ICE BUT IT DID NOT
EJECT THE ICE THE prongs FROZE IN THE ICE
SO I TOOK THE ICE MAKER OUT AND LAT THE ICE MELT and i clean it AND BUT IT BACK.
AND SERVICE MAN SiDE I NEED A NEW (ICE MAKER)???
