The automatic ice maker in our side by side frig/freezer suddenly stopped working. I do not think it’s a water supply issue because the water dispenser on the door still works fine, the filter is new, and I can hear the the normal intermitent sound of the water trying to fill the ice maker. The freezer and frig temps are normal and all switches are in "on" position. I plan to remove the ice maker unit but would like to know what type of defect I should be looking for, or if there’s another way to trouble shoot the problem. Thanks.
