ice water disp

i gene you seem to have done a great job in helping people i need help on this i have a two years old GE pss26mstass the water and ice dispenser not working properly at times the water works or the ice at times none the strange thing is if i push any buttons in the dispenser the lights on the temperature setting on the refrigerator side turns off could one help me out and let me know how can approach this problem thanks in advance for your help
