Our icemaker no longer makes ice. 
I’ve poured through your awesome site and need help IDing my next step. It may be the icemaker itself, water valve, or frozen tube. The problem I’ve got is that the icemaker in my freezer doesn’t match the one specified for my frig model (GD5SHAXKQ00). My model should have a quick freeze shelf above and then the icemaker on one side (according to the pics on the site). However, the maker we’ve got is on the very top. I found an icemaker that looks just like ours - it’s PN AP3182733. But this shouldn’t fit my frig according to the compatibility chart. I’m so confused now - I need to check the tube to see if it’s frozen - can’t seem to find out how to do that. Then it could be the water valve - we’ve experienced the icicles that were noted in other posts. Please help - I’ve looked at the site so long, I don’t really know what to do.
