Hi,
The sleeve is overflowing on my washer. I took off the hose coming from the water valve and removed the nozzle and rubber sheath and cleaned everything out. I cleaned the plastic sleeve too, but when I reconnected everything it still overflowed, but even worse. Is there a trick to putting it together? The rubber sheath that fits over the nozzle won’t stay fitted on the nozzle head–slides off when I put it back into the hose. Is this the problem? HELP!
Thank you!
The rubber sleeve probably needs to be replaced and not just cleaned.
Thanks. I went ahead and ordered an injector hose kit since it’s all about 20 yrs old and none of it’s ever been replaced. In the meanwhile, I used a tiny bit of canola oil on the old rubber sleeve and in the hose opening and it went right into the hose without rolling the rubber sleeve off the nozzle. It’s working well enough on cold water only with the water valve turned down for minimal pressure to get laundry done until the replacement comes.
