this is an expensive unit. retail 500-600. sounds like all is running but unit does not heat up. doesn’t look like the door sensor.
Can you trouble shoot! Is it worth fixing $100 labor plus parts???
What does it do after you push the start pad? Lights, sounds, turntable etc?
Do you fill comfortable to fix it yourself?

The evaporater is iced up solid. The owner claims its been getting warmer inside the upper fridge section. The freezer is of the lower drawer type. Is there a defrost termination board/thermostat/clickson located somewhere? Could that be the right direction? The compressor seems to run ok along with the evap. and cond. fans seem ok.
Hi Steve,
The model number you posted does not come up. The closest model number I found is GX2SHBXVY05.
If this model number is correct then perform the troubleshooting as described in the attached tech sheet.

Update: The customer decided to go to war with the department store for the warrantee. So I was told to wait to see because they are afraid their warranty may be recinded?
Thank you Gene for your help, I’ll let you know…
