My Jenn Air side by side model # JCD2289AES has frost/ice build-up in the freezer and didn’t seem to be cooling very well in the refrigerator side, with the controls on about the coldest settings. I defrosted the refrigerator and started it again the day before yesterday, it appeared to be doing better, with the controls at just about coldest settings again. Unfortunately I wont be able to check what it is doing for about a month or so because its in a cabin I’ve got about 9 hours away.
I’ve been reading the threads on the more than likely culprit. So should I order the adaptive defrost board to try or are there other things I should check first?
