Jenn-Air HELP

I have a Jenn-air model CVE 3400 cooktop stove. The other day we were cooking and the entire switch area began arcing fire. The house breaker tripped and once I began looking I could see where wire had melted in the electrical box for the incoming 220 volt power. I reworked the wiring and turned the breaker back on and the same thing happen again this time I could see arcing flame in the switch area on the top right hand side of the stove. Any ideas what could be shorted out in the switch area? Are parts and a break down readily available for this unit?

Thanks:confused:

Thanks Nat for the reply. I have determined that the switch for the dual burner which is top left is faulty causing the short. The switch is charred. What is the best place to seek a replacement switch?

help just spent the day teaching myself how to take apart a washer, had it spinning but now it will not spin again. It will wash, it will drain, but it will not spin.

Can you hear the motor run during spin?

yes can also see the clutch spinning

You have a worn clutch due to bad brake shoes. Go to my "sticky" "replacing direct drive brake shoes" for info.
