Jenn Air Oven/Clock control

Clock/oven lights went dim, but oven worked fine, just couldn’t see the numbers. I replaced the part, 2 screws,connected the 2 plug ins and the ribbon connect . Very easy, unfortunately nothing will work now. The clock flashes, the oven light is on , the convection oven sounds like it is running and none of the buttons do anything. I then put the old part back in and now it doesn’t work either???
