Our oven stopped working and has a ‘F0’ code that will not clear. I’ve shut off power and it worked again for about 20 seconds but the F0 reappeared and it won’t reset again. One line of advice is to replace the timer (available-$197), but another says that it may be the touch pad (no longer available). I hate to buy the timer (non-returnable) only to find it’s the touch pad. Any advice?
The "F0" error code means:"Function key stuck". The correction recommended by the manufacturer is to replace the touch pad first and, if it would not help, then replace the control board (aka timer).
The touch pad has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Looks like it’s a time for a new range.

Well, I re-connected the timer without the keypad and it powered up. I re-set the clock, plugged the keypad back into the timer and ‘presto’ it worked. The oven came on using the keypad and I walked away for several minutes. Upon return, the ‘F0’ code had reappeared and the oven shut down. Do you still think that the keypad is toast?
Most likely the problem is a bad touch pad. There is very small chance for the control board to be bad in such situation.
