Jenn_Air won't fill

It worked fine until 3 days ago. Local water utility came out to check water pressure, which was fine. Tried to use machine next day, but all it does is hum when I start it. Sounds like water wants to start filling, then just cuts off.
Could it be a clog in water inlet valve due to some dislodged crud in line?
If so, how to remove inlet valve and clean filter?

Paindoc,

The fill valve is a good place to start, and the most likely problem. But I would reccomend you replace it, not clean it.

Also, flush the water supply line to the valve, before completing the repair.

You’ll need to remove, the lower access panel and kick plate( 4 screws). the fill valve will be located on the left side of the frame, Turn the water supply to the dishwasher off, usually under the kitchen sink on the hot water line ,(pipe on the left). You’ll also need to turn the power off to the dishwasher.
Disconnect the water supply line, and wiring harness(sometimes it’s easier to dismount the fill valve from the frame assembly ( 2, 5/16" screws) and release the spring clip, holding the rubber fill tube to the water valve.
At this point you could slip a water hose over the end of the supply line, pack a wrag tightly around the hose fitting and open the water supply faucet to the dishwasher, and let it run for a couple of minutes, to flush the supply line.

Reverse the process and test the dishwasher.

Good Luck,
