my kenmore 70 series dryer is burning small circle like burns on clothes what could it be and can i fix it, is it the vent in the drum? please help cant keep buying new clothes to replace the burnt ones:confused:
Hello, Linda.
Check if there are any brown spots inside the drum or at the rear panel.
There are felt seals in front and back of the drum. If they start to deteriorate your clothes will have markings.
You can wipe around the seals with paper towel to check for marks.
Post the results.
Than you.

When this happened to me, it turned out to be a simple caseof the drum being off balance. I watched the repair guy remove the front paneland just straighten out the drum. It only took a few seconds.
