We got this Kenmore (model 11020702991) from a friend and decided to test it before we got rid of our other washer. It ran through the wash cycle no problem, stopped, clicked and then nothing happened. It wouldn’t drain so hence no spin, no matter what cycle we used. It would still agitate when put back on the wash cycle. Can you please advise us, on what to check or replace?
You have the classic signs of a busted lid switch. You can be absolutely certain by by-passing it.
