I have a Kenmore dishwasher that appears to go through its cleaning cycle however there is soap residue left in dispenser and dishes are not clean. "Clean" light flashes 7 times–does that refer to a trouble code?
Thanks-Merry Christmas !!

To speed up all this Q & A I need you to answer all posted questions.

I would recommend to order the new redesigned heater kit which includes a new control board. It should solve all your problems.
Good luck.

Just use the regular cycle, diagnostics probably no help.
I have the Model 665.1602 I reset the CLEAN flashing light by using the sugestion this forum it said to:
Try Pressing:
Normal Wash - HeatedDry -Normal Wash – HeatedDry- Normal Wash – HeatedDry- Normal Wash - HeatedDry . all the lights should come on. then after a little bit. keep pressing start till disher washer gets back to normal shut down. what happen your water was to cold going into the disherwasher one time taking to long to warm up. the dishwaher went into a fault mode. the light blinks 7 times because there was a fault with your heater circuit. this should take care of it.

This is a GE double oven with manual knob controls for the lower oven which works fine when we trun the electrical breaker on.
The upper oven is controlled by a control panel which has been showing a F7 error code.
About a year ago when this accured the repair man turned the power off and waited about 5 min. then turnen the power on which cleared the code and everything has been working fine till a few ddays ago.
The F7 error code has accured again along with a flashing set light and a lot of beeping.
The repair tech now tells me i need a new control panel but can’t tell me what the F7 error code means.
Questions-
What does the F7 error code mean.
Should I replace the entire control panel.
What would be the part or parts I need.
What would be the cost.
Thanks–Shadow28:confused:
Initial intake of water into the heat exchanger only lasts for a few seconds. Water drains straight through aqua stop / float valve into machine. We it is working correctly the water fill cycle take much longer, circa 30 seconds. The heat exchanger fills completely before the water is released.
Any ideas please?
Thanks
Martin
water leaking down from ice maker even when there is no ice. Water freezes to ice on lower shelves and in the bottom of the refrig. Top of freezer not cold to the touch. Think the other side of the refrig not keeing cold.

The first symptom was the dryer would stop mid-cycle & the start button would have to be pushed to continue the cycle. This was an intermittent problem. Now the dryer will only operate on one setting, while not completing the cycle. It will only operate the length of time between the closest 2 lines. If the cloths are not dry, the “operating window” has to be restarted, as the start button will no longer continue the remaining time of the cycle. What could some of the causes be?
If you have no meter, I would pull the cover off the timer and check for burnt contacts.
Are you using He soap? If not, Thats your problem!!! If you are, use less soap!!!
